General Full-Site Update

I decided that the mouseovers on the menus were a waste of bandwidth and did away with them. I've also updated most every section with new content... A slight revision to the graphics on the home page and icons throughout.

The Mods section now includes the latest mods... In the Tips section I've updated suspension and wheel info and added the Electronics and Cleaning sections, as well as doing away with the Top Ten section.

Pics is now called "Gallery" and includes audio and video (altho there's no video yet). Have fun!

Updated Mods, Tips, Added Pics

With the unexpected acquisition of new wheels and tires, as well as the somewhat anticipated lowering of my GSR, I've updated the site. There will be more in-depth info coming soon, but there are some pics and basic info up now. Enjoy.

Updated Site Intro, Awards Added, Head Unit Install Updated

I thought I'd make it a bit easier for folks to get to the content, since I know the graphic on the home page isn't exactly a quick load.

Some other import sites around the web have seen fit to bestow awards upon this site. Check them out here.

Finally, a visitor pointed out the flawed manner of installation for the head unit that I had posted. A professional, he supplied me with an easier, better way. I've posted it in the Tips section. Check it out.

Foglight Problems - update

Hyper-White or Blue? The lawman says "OK".

I guess "white" and "amber" are the only colors your turn signals are allowed to be. I was stopped by a county officer and received a repair order for the "blue" turn signals on my car.

After fiddling with the bulbs and then deciding that the hyper-white/ultra-white are in fact white and not blue, I replaced them and a State Trooper signed off on the order. I guess it's all a matter of opinion...

Transmission rebuilt under warranty.

Yup. I guess I drove it too hard? Only 20k miles and the synchros were shot. Main shaft too. It wouldn't go into first gear on a downshift any faster than 20mph. It went "ka-chunk" into 3rd. Now it's smooth as silk. Why oh why? I don't drive it THAT hard. It's fixed. Not even a big hassle about all the mods.
